Evolve Talent is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a reputable commercial joinery company in Newcastle, NSW.


Position Details:

  • Type: Contract, 12 - 18 months
  • Salary: Competitive salary based on experience + super
  • Location: Newcastle, NSW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a large commercial joinery project from planning through to installation
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project goals
  • Conduct site measures, review drawings, and manage variations
  • Order materials, issue work orders, and track project progress
  • Attend client meetings and maintain strong, ongoing communication
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Coordinate with site foremen and monitor job cost performance
  • Drive continuous improvement and support company values and WHS practices

Candidate Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Joinery
  • Minimum 3 years in a joinery role + 3-4 years in construction project management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of joinery practices and the ability to liaise confidently with clients
  • Ability to manage time, budgets, and project documentation effectively
