Evolve Talent is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a reputable commercial joinery company in Newcastle, NSW.
Position Details:
- Type: Contract, 12 - 18 months
- Salary: Competitive salary based on experience + super
- Location: Newcastle, NSW
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a large commercial joinery project from planning through to installation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project goals
- Conduct site measures, review drawings, and manage variations
- Order materials, issue work orders, and track project progress
- Attend client meetings and maintain strong, ongoing communication
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Coordinate with site foremen and monitor job cost performance
- Drive continuous improvement and support company values and WHS practices

Candidate Requirements:
- Trade qualification in Joinery
- Minimum 3 years in a joinery role + 3-4 years in construction project management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- In-depth knowledge of joinery practices and the ability to liaise confidently with clients
- Ability to manage time, budgets, and project documentation effectively
